won't be around most of the weekend, so here's what's going on at hollywood this evening:
r1: tizawinner. really like this one's chances tonight off the bench for jp dupuis. wish he wasn't coupled with maneuverable, but i really want to beat middleweight, who ran a good 2nd to the promising enders shadow. i think 'tiz is sitting on huge one tonight.
r4: rock cod johnny. this is a great betting race as literally any of the horses can win this one. i'll take a shot with rock cod johnny and leading trainer, doug o'neill. nuesch up is no great shakes, but it'll jack up my price. this one is by run softly out of a stakes placed turkoman mare, so turf should be no problem. i'm looking at his last as a good tightener in a tough race and now into the winners circle first time turf.
r6: skywalker red. not sure how this horse is going to lose. winner at a short price.
r7: mcmanus. gave this one out last time and he was right there at 40/1 with the kid baze. now gets veteran johnston aboard and should be neatly placed near the front in this affair. this one has always had some quality and should still be a fair price for the low profile connections.
r8: go tiff go. not much of any substance in here other than secret tales, who figures around 3/5 in here. i'll take a chance with the salih trainee off the six month layoff. he got a ton of action in his second start and i'm taking a chance to beat the favorite in here.
